What this site conforms to.

timesys.pro aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA throughout, and Level AAA for contrast on every page a visitor reaches without signing in. Where it does not meet AAA, the reason is below rather than absent.

Where AAA is not met, and why

2.5.5 Target Size (Enhanced) asks for 44×44 pixels on every control. The country matrix is 241 rows by 18 columns and the coverage atlas lists 241 jurisdictions; giving every cell link a 44-pixel target would make those tables several screens wider and stop them being tables. The AA requirement — 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum), 24 pixels or adequate spacing — is met everywhere, and was measured rather than assumed.

WCAG itself does not expect AAA conformance for whole sites, and we do not claim it. We claim the parts we meet and name the part we do not.

How this was tested

By measurement, in a browser, against the live site — not by a checklist. Every foreground colour is composited against the background actually behind it, including translucent layers; contrast is computed per element rather than sampled. Keyboard behaviour is exercised with real key presses, because a scripted .focus() does not trigger :focus-visible and reports every control as unfocusable.

Specifically checked: contrast at both the 4.5:1 and 7:1 thresholds, heading order, landmark and skip-link presence, focus visibility and its own contrast, target size and spacing, reflow at 320 pixels, text spacing overrides, form labelling, and colour never being the only carrier of meaning.

Two things this site does that are worth naming. Status is never conveyed by colour alone — every assurance pill carries its word as well as its shade, and the coverage matrix uses distinct shapes so it survives greyscale and a monochrome printout. And a data table that has nothing for a jurisdiction dims the row rather than hiding it: an absence is information, and it stays readable.

Known limitations

Some dossiers are PDFs generated for print. They carry a document structure and readable text, but they are not tagged to PDF/UA. If you need the same content in an accessible format, ask and we will provide it.

This statement describes the site as it stands today. It is reviewed whenever the interface changes materially, and corrections appear in the changelog.
